Trail overview

I have been visiting the Farm since my school days, we had our first field trip to the farm in the year 85. Back then it was a cattle and dairy farm and now they have opened their doors to have an awesome Farm Experience with a lovely restaurant.

‘Life on the Udder Side’ is the farm’s tagline. If you visit the place once you will definitely come back for more. The Farm brings a sense of peace in a busy city like Chennai. My first long distance Motorcycle ride was from the farm and my first 50 plus km cycle ride was to the farm. I began to enjoy dairy products because of the farm they have the best curd, paneer, ghee and cheese. Do the Farm walk visit the horses at the stables and simply enjoy your day. I am sure The FARM will give all great memories to take home.

Places to see en route

Recreating the trail from when I moved to Bangalore for my college education. Taking the train was the fastest and safest way to reach Chennai back in the day. Once you get off at Chennai I used work the network of buses to travel within the city. Chennai has come a long way in improving the railway network within the city, you get to see a bit of the old city. Public transport is brilliant if you don’t want to deal with traffic.
